NFL Jersey Guide
to the Top Selling Jerseys - 2006
An NFL jersey for a player on the Top 10 list can be a
challenge to find. Sales of these NFL football jerseys have
been brisk, and suppliers are working hard to keep up with
the demand.
Most of the NFL players on the list are everyday names
around the water cooler when the discussion turns to last
weekend’s football game. The list usually reads like a
who’s who of professional football players, with many
future Hall of Famers near the top.
No surprise is that 6 out of the 10 are quarterbacks.
The big surprise this year is that a rookie’s jersey has
made it to the #1 position, a first in NFL jersey sales
history. Ben Roethlisberger’s jersey, No. 7, has made it to
the top of the list. No other rookie made the cut.
Let’s take a look at this year's list of top selling NFL
jerseys:
1. Ben Roethlisberger - QB
Steelers
2. Michael Vick - QB Falcons
3. Terrence Owens - WR Eagles
4. Donovan McNabb - QB Eagles
5. Warren Sapp - DL Oakland
6. Priest Holmes - RB Chiefs
7. Tom Brady - QB Patriots
8. Brett Favre - QB Packers
9. Clinton Portis - RB Redskins
10. Peyton Manning - QB Colts
The Top 10 Selling NFL jerseys list is prepared by Reebok,
the NFL’s official licensee for football jerseys and other
NFL team wear.
