To Care for Your Baseball Hat

to your favorite pair of sports shoes, your baseball hat is a
cherished friend. Whether
it is a MLB hat, NFL hat, NBA hat, or whatever, you want the
best care for your hat.
After
hours of work putting the perfect curve on your hats brim, you
have an investment on your head.
Why let its appearance deteriorate due to neglect –
keep it clean. Don’t
know how? Read on …..
If
you have a wool baseball hat, it
must be dry cleaned. This
includes the New Era 59/50 series, the DH and DHS series, and
other wool or wool blend baseball hats.
All
other baseball hats can be washed.
Please use common sense when it comes to metal studs,
special stitching, etc.
The
perfect method is to place your baseball hat in the dishwasher.
Place your hat in the upper rack, run the “normal”
cycle, and let the hat air dry.
LIDS has developed two products for just this purpose –
the Ball Cap Buddy and The Perfect Curve.
Both hold your baseball hat to ensure its safety while
maintaining its original shape.
Warning: Do
not use detergent – it will ruin your hat!
An
alternate method, though less desirable, is to put your hat in
the washing machine. This
requires a product like LIDS Ball Cap Buddy or The Perfect
Curve. Don’t try
this method without a form to hold the hat.
Remember,
if you take proper care of your baseball hat, it will
serve you well and, best of all, maintain its “cool”
factor.
