Red
Sox Wear Green Ball Caps for
St. Patrick’s Day
The
Boston Red Sox displayed a “touch of the Irish” when they
donned green ball caps to commemorate St. Patrick’s Day.
A first for the team, the Red Sox wore green jerseys and
baseball caps when they hosted the Cleveland Indians in a spring
training game in Fort Myers, Florida.
The
Red Sox traditionally wear green baseball caps on St. Paddy’s
Day. The special
baseball cap reminds the residents of their ties to the Irish
people and respect for their special day.
The
ball caps are designed and produced by New Era.
They are the official provider of on-field baseball caps
and hats for all 30 major league clubs.
They have a 70-year relationship with Major League
Baseball and are the largest sports-licensed baseball cap and
headwear company in the world.
New
Era baseball caps are some of the finest available on the market
today. Their
caps are high quality, carefully crafted headwear used by
professional sports figures worldwide.
The
City of Boston has always had a long tradition with the color
green – from the Monster at Fenway Park to the championship
Celtics. The
St. Paddy’s Day tradition is one that is here to stay!
